Now that I have been riding these centers for about two weeks, I can honestly say that they are the most suited for freebording needs. Their more rounded shape makes for less friction with the ground. their 86A duro rides soft and smooth without feeling flimsy or weak. their spoked cores dissipate any heat that may accumulate on long rides. the urethane is freshly poured(hasnt been sitting around in a warehouse deteriorating) so no worries about getting old 'thane. the mixture of the urethane also seems to hold up much better than the Mac's ever did.
to say the least, these centers are a big step up functionally, and at least few steps in the right direction.
